Alisa is a naturalized citizen of the Solomon Islands who comes from a long and mixed lineage of Polynesian and Melanesian artisans from Lau Province of the Fiji Islands.

Alisa is the founder of Solomon Islands Arts Alliance (SIAA), a charitable trust that works towards building the creative Industry of the Solomon Islands. Alisa has participated in many group exhibitions and has worked, to date, on private commissions as a source of income. Much of Alisa’ work explores social issues that affect mainly Pacific Women.

Living between Fiji and the Solomon Islands, Alisa is a multi-media artist, exploring painting, Fabric Printing/Designing, Interior Design, dance, creative writing, Graphic Design and film. Alisa currently resides in the Solomon Islands.
